Duo of international films delight audiences at venues in the Iranian capital city of Tehran this week.
English director Christopher Nolan’s ‘Inception’ and South Korean director Hong Sang-soo’s ‘Nobody’s Daughter Haewon’ were scheduled to screen at venues in Tehran.
On February 10, Qolhak Cinema in Tehran will show Nolan’s ‘Inception’, a film about a thief with the rare ability to enter people’s dreams and steal their secrets from their subconscious.
The 2010 sci-fi film’s cast includes Leonardo Dicaprio, Tom Hardy, Ellen Page, Cillian Murphy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard.
Meanwhile, South Korean hit ‘Nobody’s Daughter Haewon’ by writer and director Hong Sang-soo screened at the Cinematheque of the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art on Tuesday.
The 2013 drama film played in the original language with Persian subtitles.
The flick chronicles a few days in the life of a young woman who spins into depression following the departure of her mother to Canada.
